The current research aimed to develop learning efficiency and the trend towards e-learning among students who are not specialized in the field of educational technology, by identifying the impact of the interaction between the content presentation pattern (unit level - course level) in the e-learning environment and the content navigation pattern (linear - branched) . The research sample consisted of (20) students from the College of Arabic Language at Qassim University, and the students were distributed into four experimental groups. To investigate the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a set of tools, namely: an opinion poll aimed at identifying students 'opinions about the content presentation and navigation pattern, an achievement test aimed at measuring the cognitive aspect, and an attitude scale aimed at identifying students' attitudes towards e-learning. The results of the research have revealed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the two experimental groups with regard to the trend towards e-learning. Due to the influence of the content presentation style (unit level - course level) with fixing the content navigation pattern (linear) in favor of the content presentation style at the course level. The researcher recommends submitting the content at the course level, and use of linear navigation style, as a main mode of navigation in electronic content.
