Learning environment based on interaction between the flipped classroom and cognitive style for the development of professional competencies for the teacher students in the computer teacher preparation division

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to treat the weak professional competencies of student teachers in the Computer Teacher Preparation Division, through a learning environment based on the interaction between the flipped classroom and the cognitive style, and the research was limited to lesson planning skills (as one of the professional competencies), and the research sample consisted of two experimental groups: the first experimental group (56) of students teachers who were independent teachers of the field, and the second experimental group (56) of students teachers who depended on the field. The two groups studied using the proposed learning environment, which in its electronic aspect relied on (at home) learning through 10 videos, made available to them through cloud computing technology using Google Drive app.
The results of the research found that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the two experimental groups in the dimensional measurement of each of: the achievement test and the lesson planning skills assessment card, in favor of the first experimental group, and the result ​​indicate the size of the average effect of the proposed learning environment, which indicates its effectiveness in developing the professional competencies of student teachers (the research sample), and indicated that The most appropriate cognitive method with the learning environment based on the flipped classroom, is the method of independence from the field, rather than the method of dependence on the field.
