Abstract

A working paper presented by Dr. Khaled Fargoun
Professor and Head of Educational Technology Department at Helwan Education
For the Ninth (Seventh International) Scientific Conference of the Egyptian Association for Educational Computers - Fourth Industrial Revolution and Quality Education in the period from 20-25 July 2020 via remote video communication

We are living today in what some call the “post-truth” era, which is characterized by digital disinformation and information war led by some parties that run false media campaigns to manipulate public opinion, and this often has a significant impact on people’s views on many things.
In this paper, I do not want to talk about what is happening on social networks of hoaxes that occur inside video files to the point of inability to distinguish between truth and deception, but I would like to talk about the positive aspect of employing these deceptions in education, especially in smart electronic learning environments, as It is not possible to apply this technology without referring to smart systems that help it integrate and integrate with its incubating environment.
