Abstract

Summary of the research:

The aim of the research was to reveal the effect of the pattern and density of video hyperlinks in a virtual learning environment based on the hyper-video, as well as the effect of the interaction between them on the post-application of each of the achievement test for the cognitive aspect related to graphic design skills, the product evaluation card for educational fees produced by students, and the cognitive load scale.

The researcher formulated a set of hypotheses and used a set of tools to verify the validity of those hypotheses (a cognitive test, a product evaluation card, a cognitive load scale) all prepared by the researcher.

The research was tested on first-level students in a computer teacher program for people with special needs, Department of Educational Technology and Computer, Faculty of Specific Education, Menoufia University, academic year 2021-2022.

The research concluded that there was no effect on the cognitive or skill level or the cognitive load of the density of video hyperlinks in the virtual e-learning environment based on the super-video, while there was an effect of the style of displaying video hyperlinks in favor of the students who studied in the cue points style, and the research found Also, there is an effect resulting from the interaction between the display pattern of the video hyperlinks and the intensity of the display of those links. This effect gave preference to the students who studied the hyperlinks based on cue Points hyperlinks with medium intensity.
