The effect of employing some styles of content presentation using digital (mental maps - conceptual maps) in the cloud learning environment to correct alternative perceptions of some technological concepts among students of the Education Technology

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to correct alternative perceptions of some technological concepts among students of the Education Technology Division by employing digital (mental maps / conceptual maps) in the cloud learning environment using Google Classroom, where the research sample consisted of (66) male and female students from the first-year students of the Technology Division. Education in the academic year 2021/2022 at the Faculty of Specific Education, Port Said University, in a course (Advanced Computer Operating Systems). The students were distributed the research sample into two experimental groups of (33) students for each experimental group according to the experimental design of the research. To investigate the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a group Among the tools, the tools consisted of an electronic cognitive achievement test (writing the scientific term, true and false) prepared by the researcher, and an electronic correction test for alternative perceptions of technological concepts prepared by the researcher. Mentality) versus the content presentation style using (conceptual maps) in increasing achievement and correcting alternative perceptions of some technological concepts.
