Application of artificial intelligence in education from the point of view of female secondary school teachers

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the reality of using artificial intelligence applications in education from the point of view of secondary school teachers. The research tool consisted of a questionnaire comprising (34) phrases divided into (4) themes. The first theme is related to lesson planning skills, comprising (8) phrases, while the second theme is related to implementation of lesson skills, comprising (9) phrases, while the third theme is related to lesson assessment skills, comprising (9) phrases, while the fourth theme is related to the challenges facing the applications of artificial intelligence in education, comprising (8) phrases. The questionnaire was distributed to (163) secondary school teachers. The results showed the degree of availability of skills for using artificial intelligence applications in education from the point of view of secondary school teachers regarding (lesson planning) was medium with an arithmetic mean (07,3) and a standard deviation (51.1), whereas lesson implementation was medium level with an arithmetic mean (10,3) and standard deviation (44.1), while, lesson evaluation was medium with an arithmetic mean (11.3) and standard deviation (46.1),whereas, the challenges of artificial intelligence applications in education was very high with an arithmetic mean (97.3) and a standard deviation (16.1).There were statistically significant differences at (0 ,05) regarding the degree of employing artificial intelligence applications in education.

The research recommended holding training courses for secondary school teachers on using artificial intelligence applications techniques.
