The Effects of Electronic Activities via Kahoot Program on The Development of Achievement and Instructional Satisfaction in Mathematics Course for Primary Sixth Grade Students

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the impact of electronic activities via the Kahoot App on the development of educational achievement and satisfaction in the mathematics course for sixth-grade students. The study used the quasi-experimental approach, and its sample consisted of (38) students from the sixth grade of Ali bin Al-Fudhail primary school in the south of Riyadh. The sample was split into two groups: an experimental group and a control group which consisted of 19 students for each of them. The study used the achievement test and the educational satisfaction scale as tools for accomplishing the study's objective. The results showed that: There were statistically significant differences at the significance level of (∝ ≤ 0.05) among the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the achievement test and the educational satisfaction scale in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended: Paying attention to the school environment. keeping pace with the technical development in the field of education using technology and adopting training programs that contribute to the development of teachers’ experiences towards the use of modern technology in education and employing it optimally. Working on developing educational curricula in line with the requirements of the current time, which is increasingly relying on technology. Using electronic activities via the Kahoot App in education. Motivating students to use modern technology in education so they can develop their learning.
