Abstract

The current research aimed to reveal the use of two styles of Chaboot’s in the interactive e-book (while watching the content - after watching) on the achievement of student’s and achievement motivation and reducing the cognitive load among the students of the Applied College. The research sample consisted of (60) students from the Applied College students at the University of Hail. which were divided into two equal experimental groups. The first was studied with the interactive chatbots pattern in the interactive e-book, which is used after watching the content, while the second experimental group studied with the interactive chatbots pattern, which is used while watching the content, as it is displayed after watching the content. the research tools consisted of: achievement test, a measure of achievement motivation, a measure of cognitive load.

The results of the search revealed: First: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students of the second experimental group in the post application on the achievement test in favor of the second experimental group. Second: There is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the second experimental group in the post application on the achievement motivation scale. Third: There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the second experimental group in posttest on the cognitive load scale in favor of the second experimental group.
