Abstract

The current research aimed to investigate the design of an electronic learning environment according to the two types of visual stimuli (symbolic / realistic) and the effect of their interaction with the level of perceptual speed (high/low) on developing the skills of designing digital learning objects and visual thinking among students of educational technology, to determine the nature of experimental treatments, achieve the effect of whether or not it depends on the research variables, the experimental treatment was applied to the research sample members according to the experimental design of four experimental groups of (30) male and female students, after applying the research tools, the scores were processed statistically, it was found that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental groups in the test of cognitive achievement of the skills of designing digital learning objects, due to the primary effect in the interaction between the levels of perceptual speed, the two types of visual stimuli in the electronic learning environment. statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental groups in the performance evaluation card for the skills of designing digital learning objects, it is due to the primary effect in the interaction between the levels of perceptual speed, the two types of visual stimuli in the electronic learning environment, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of answering the test of visual thinking skills for the students of the experimental research groups, e-learning environment.
