A Training Program Based On The Second Generation Web 2.0 Applications To Develop The Skills Of Designing And Producing The Electronic Achievement Record For High School Teachers.
The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of a training program based on web 2.0 applications in developing the design and production skills of electronic achievement records among female secondary school teachers in Al-Namas Governorate. To achieve this objective, the researcher employed a descriptive research method and a quasi-experimental design with a single-group pretest-posttest. The researcher prepared a list of design and production skills for electronic achievement records and then developed and applied research tools (an achievement test and an observation checklist) before and after the intervention on a sample of 25 teachers from secondary schools in Al-Namas Governorate. This was conducted during the second semester of the academic year 1441-1442 AH. The results indicated a statistically significant difference at a significance level of 0.05 between the mean scores of the pretest and posttest for the experimental group teachers in favor of the posttest application, both in the achievement test and in the performance skills of designing and producing electronic achievement records. Moreover, there was a statistically significant difference at a significance level of 0.05 between the overall score mean of the evaluation criteria for the quality of the final product in the posttest application among secondary school teachers and the proficiency level mean (2.4) equivalent to (80%) in favor of the overall score mean of the evaluation criteria for the quality of the final product in the posttest application.
