Designing An Electronic Instructional System in Light of the ASSURE Model for Developing the Skills of Designing the Electronic Portfolio Among University Students In light of their needs

Abstract

This study aimed to design a proposed electronic instructional model in light of the ASSURE model for developing the skills of designing the E- portfolio among university students. The descriptive method has been used to achieve the research goals. A questionnaire for determining university students’ instructional needs necessary for developing their skills of designing the E- portfolio was applied to a random sample of students of the College of Education at the U B, (n=40). In light of those needs and the related literature, the study has reached a proposed instructional model through which the skills of designing E- portfolio could be developed. The model consisted of the following elements: Analyzing the instructional objectives of E- portfolio, Analyzing the instructional content of tE- portfolio, choosing the educational materials and multimedia required for the electronic portfolio, using the instructional materials and multimedia of E- portfolio, requesting the participation of the learners of E- portfolio, and finally, giving feedback and reviewing the E- portfolio
